As an entrepreneur, Adrienne has had substantial success in creating new businesses including gelliebeans, a retail line of gel polishes which she created, developed and sold within 12 months. Additionally, she was the developer and President of John Sahag haircare with the celebrity hairdresser of that name. After 15 years, this business is still a force in the professional salon industry.
For large and smaller corporations, Adrienne created the first positive cash flow and profitability for Mirabella Beauty while President of that company. As the Executive Vice-President of NBTY, she was responsible for the turnaround of the medical division there, growth in the natural market sector, large growth with their largest customer, Herbalife and was instrumental in the acquisition of private label capacity. With classical packaged goods marketing experience and training at Colgate-Palmolive, Clairol and Revlon, she developed new lines, worked on category leaders and successfully drove sales through cohesive, cost-effective programming.
With an education in Chemical Engineering and Operations experience in handling $100million in chemical purchases, Adrienne’s skills in negotiating have helped create profitability for smaller companies through negotiations with vendors. Additionally, her supply-base knowledge helps create the most efficient and cost-effective programs for the clients.
